Christchurch, March : 5. : At the; Magistrate's ■ Court- to-day Mr Beswick/; speaking for the Law Society, -made reference to' a". case heard yesterday ,in which Mr Cresswell, barrister, stated that it was a common practice for solicitors to accept commissions-from land agents on business ■ put through -the agents' hands by them.
