Delenda forged ahead on tho outside and the field closed up, Riverside, Little Lad, and Flavel leading- together by a length. Pendil improved his position at the bridge and ran into second place. Dyed Garments and Nushka each put in a fast run rounding the turn. Then a most exciting race commenced. Pendil in the centre of the field led, Delenda challenging an outsider. Pendil was well ridden and got home by half a length, Five_ Crowns. was fourth; time 4.0}.~ Steeplechase: Kororvit 1, Player 2, Won in a canter by six lengths; time 4.105- --. Bourke Handicap: Soult Line 1, True Scot 2, Monodist 3. Won easily by four lengths ; time 1.26 J. Junior . Handicap : Sperry -1, Apple Pie 2, Patronatus 3. Won by a length and a half; time 1.15 J.
