The results were: — Hurdles :'A!ert Dread 1, Aringa 2, The Ribhle 3. Won by half a length time 5.475. Ascot Vale Stakes : Sunny South 1, Mala 2, Barm 3. Won by 1J lengths; time 1.15£. : Cup: Pendil lj D'elanda 2, Signor Flavel 3. Somnambulist, Pendil and Dyed Garments, were last into the straight. Delenda forged ahead on tho outside and the field closed up, Riverside, Little Lad, and Flavel leading- together by a length. Pendil improved his position at the bridge and ran into second place. Dyed Garments and Nushka each put in a fast run rounding the turn. Then a most exciting race commenced. Pendil in the centre of the field led, Delenda challenging an outsider. Pendil was well ridden and got home by half a length, Five_ Crowns. was fourth; time 4.0}.~ Steeplechase: Kororvit 1, Player 2, Won in a canter by six lengths; time 4.105- --. Bourke Handicap: Soult Line 1, True Scot 2, Monodist 3. Won easily by four lengths ; time 1.26 J. Junior . Handicap : Sperry -1, Apple Pie 2, Patronatus 3. Won by a length and a half; time 1.15 J.
