Before Mr H. Eyre-Kenny, S.M. E. P. Symes (Mr Hayes) v. John Fowler, a claim for £10 10s for rent. Judgment for plaintiff with costs. . Golden Bay Bacon Coy_ (Mr Hayes) v.- Merrit and Son, a claim for £9 8s 4d for goods supplied. Judgment for .amount claimed less £3 14s 6d paid since the issue of the summons, with costs. . . . Joseph Wyde (Mr Hayes) v I. W. Moulder (Mr Maginnity) claim for £10 19s 2d for rent. .7 Judgment for amount claimed with costs. Charles Lewis (Mr • Atkinson) v. Golden Bay Cement Works., Ltd (Mr Hayes),. a claim of £58 4s for surveying work. This case "occupied the greater part of the day, and during the cross examination of the plaintiff it was adjourned for a short time, and finally until llth March, to give' the parties an opportunity to come to a settlement. Martin Paharuhi (for whom •• Mr Maginnity appeared) was . charged with the theft of £12 from Inia Ohau .on Ist February; and, after he had elected to be dealt with. summarily the case, was also adjourned to llth March.
