— • — The Wakefield Branch of the Farmers' Union is inviting those desirous of having instruction in wool sorting to send in their names. Particulars are given by advertisement in this issue. In the advertisement columns appears an amended declaration of the Nelson licensing poll taken last November. This has heen inserted for tbe reason that in the hrst declaration the informal votes were included in "the total number ol voters whose votes were recorded at the poll." Ocly the valid votes may be so counted, and the number Stands at 5894 instead of 5978, as appearing in the fiist advertisement.
