HARBOUR BOARD ELECTION.
WAIME V- COUNTY REPRESENTATIVES.
A poll for the election of three members to represent tbe Waimea County Council on the Nelson_ Harb'ourTßoard took place on. Monday, but the returns did not come to band until yesterday. The candidates were Messrs W. N. Franklyn, W. Coleman (both of whom were seeking re-election), E. S. Houlfc, and F. W. Smith. -Ms predicted, by one of the members at the Board meeting on Monday, the polling wss small, due no doubt to the insufficient advertising of the election,' and i|^ is a significant faot that voting, with the exception of Wakefield, waa heaviest, at the polling booth in town, a ipcal having been inserted in this paper on Monday morning informing ratepayers -that- they could record their votes at the-Wai-mea County 7 office.
