' ! Timaru,- Feb 5. David Given, 46 years of age, the t foreman stone mason on St Mary s C (English) Church building met with a v shocking death this afternoon. He p was engaged pressing big slabs of Oamaru stone on end when in turn- t ing one the strong south wind took c charge and toppled the slab over, i when Given was knocked down and c fell with his head and neck on the . smaller block of stone, he being i crushed between it and the big slab. Death was almost instaneous. .
