THE DUNEDIN SHOOTING CASE.
Dunedin, Feb. -3. At the inquest on the body of Samuel Lewis Brookes, who shot himself at Maori Hill en Monday, it was shown that deceased quarrelled with his wife. Deceased's father-in-law, who was in the room* made no attempt to interfere during the quarrel, or wbile the shots' were being fired. The inquest was ad> journed.till Monday, Mrs Brookes being' unable to appear.
