Mr Wyndbam 's amendment to reject Mr Uirrell's Land Bill on' the ground that it threw fresh obstacles in the way of jho sale of holdings to the occupiers, and increased the Exchequer's responsibilities, without conlarring a corresponding benefit on the ten-rats and owners, was negatived by 233 to 62.
