EVIDENCE OF AN ACCOMPLICE . [Brisbane, Nov. 3. In connection with the alleged murder of Mis 9 Dufty, a governess t by Mrs Wilson, of Carpentaria Downs Station, William Wilson, an aboriginal station hand, in giving evidence, stated at the Police Court that Mrs Wilson asked him to. com* up in the morning, as she wanted to Kill Mi3S Duffy. He went up to the house before it was light, together with Mrs Wilson, and entered Miss Duffy's room, where the victim was asleep. Witness said Mrs Wilson bad a pociietknife, and he stood at the foot of the bed. The accused walked past him to Miss Duffy's bead, and told -him to hold the de-c--ased's baeds He said bo did so, and that the accused then put her handkerchief to Miss Duffy's mouth and ; stuck the knife into the side of tne neck. . The deceased struggled a 'little; but the. accused held the ha«d kerchief to her mouth all the time. WitDesa said that she then took out the knife, when blood was spurting out. WUaesa added that the accused, when she slabbed .Miss Duffy, had her Knee on tbe bed. Witness went through the whole proceedings graphically in the Court. He said Miss Duffy only groaned a little. Witness said that at accused's request ho washed off the blood from deceased's hands, The accused told him to wash, the bloodstained clothes. '.^ ggg Tbe accused was remanded fur. eight days.
