With only three more rounds to play, interest in the eribbage competition for the Harford Shield is becoming keea. The sixth week's play concluded on Saturday night, when the Anglers defeated the Nelson Rifles by the narrow margin of one game, tne scores being—^Anglers 13, Rifles 12. The match between the Rechabites and the Press and Telegraph team, tixedjor Saturday night was unavoidably" postponed. By their defeat by the Anglers, the Nel- ! son Rifles, who bad previously held a leading position, have to give place to the Maitai Bowling Qlub and the N.N. and N.R.A., in the number of matches won and lost, although they still lead in the aggregate of games won. The following table shows the position of the various teams at the conclusion of last week's play : Matches Games Won Lost won
