A CORNER IN COTTON.
ONE 'HUNDRED THOUSAND MADE. Received May 17, 4 15 p.m. New York, May 16. A speculator named Littlemore attempted a corner in the July cotton. He afterwards quietly sold the cotton to the alarmed speculators at New York yesterday, and netted on 6 hundred thousand pounds sterling I by his transactions. j
