ELLIOTT COMMITTED FOR TRIAL.
Wellington, May 15.
A. C. Elliott, bankrupt, was brought up at the Police Court today, when six of theft ancl fraud, involving several hundreds of pounds, were preferred against him. To five of the charges Elliott pleaded guilty, and to one not guilty. He was committed to the Supreme Court for trial in respect to the lastnamed charge, and for sentence on fche other charges.
