The "Daily Mail" states that Mr McKenna's promotion as First Lord of the Admiralty has arouaed a storm of criticism even in Liberal circles. The paper adds that he is supposed to be only a little navy man. The "Mail" thinKs that Lord Crewe is likely to act fairly and on safe and cautious lines, as Secretary of State for the Colonies. '.The "Standard" rejoices Sin Mr Winston Churchill's removal from the Colonial Offica, since he had contrived tc irritate the statesmen of. every seli-governing colony .except two which had lately fought against their Sovereign. Mr Asquith, Premier, will introduce the Budget when Parliament reassembles.
