THE FATAL DRAY ACCIDENT.
Per United Press Association, JPPS^O* Napifer, March 20. At the inquest on Thomas Dillon, his son stated that his father was asleep on the road, and he was near him, and that Reid, hia father's mate, had an argument as to whether they should go on, or turn back. Reid eventually pulled tbe horse, and then the dray was backed over his father, rupturing his liver and bladder. Witness had his thigh broken. Reid, who first gave evidence, told a different story. The jury returned a verdict of accidental death, bit censured Reid for not rendering assistance when the accident happened.
