SUBURBAN NORTH. Th-3 . monthly meeting of the Suburban North Road Board was held on Friday, the members present be- j ing Messrs \V. Gill (chairman), A. Dodson, A. G. Denrker, E. G. Westlt-y, and T. W. Anderson. Accounts amounting to£lS 8s were passed far payment. Tho Overseer" 3 report was read. 11m recommended that gome gravelling 1 o done on the Wnngamoa road befn-e the wintor s<?t in. A notice was received from tho Inspector of Noxious Weeds re noxious \voetls on lands between road and river in Happy Valley. A memorandum was received from the Department of Lands re payment •_>f £2 173, accrued thirds, into the br.nU to the Board's credit. It was decided to clear noxious woods between the river and road in Happy Valley. The clerk was instructed to write to tbe Minister of Public Wonts, and to the Commissioner of Orovn Lands regarding the expenditure of the £200 grant for the bridle road Wangamoa to Onetaa, granted in July,' 1904.
