„ London, Feb. 3. The news of the murders, which was first communicated at 3 o'clock in the morning, caused King Edward and Queen Alexandra the greatest grief. Instead of dining with the Lifeguards' officers at Knightsbridge, King Edward dined privately with his family in the Palace. The "Pall Mall Gazette" says that the lesson of Lisbon shows the need of an international agreement to war against human vermin. With a view to preventing a misunderstanding, only one British cruiser will visit the Tag us instead of Admiral Curzon-Howea' whole squadron, which, was expected in the ordinary course.
