A fatal accident occurred at*Uonvi lie last evening on the Castlecliff branch-line of the railway, when aman named Andrew Boyle was run over by the train and cut to pieces. The train was approaching Gonville station, when the engine driver noticed an object on the line a few yards m front of the engine. He immediately applied the brake, but the train passed over the object before it could be brought to a standstill; An arm ahjl a leg of the. body I were severed and th& bbd^ was hor ribly mangled. The victim was within a few yards of his home, and c vidently did not hear or see the approaching train.
