I (Special to the "Colonist. ") (By Telegraph.) Wellington, Jan. 31. The Nelson bowling teßin played Newtown Club this afternoon. The greens were very heavy owing to rain yesterday and to-day. The reI suit was : Newtown 73, Nelson 38. j The scores were:— r Ramsay, Campbell, Roberts, Price (a), 26. Mansfield, Oresswell, Moyes,Rout ■(s),10. Pollock, McLean, Mancarrow, Wylie (s), 20. Jackson, Kerr, Angus, Nalder (s), 12. Ransen, Hawartn, Denden, Prince, (a), 22. lioulker, Squires, Watt, Sharp (s), 16. The Nelson team was at sea on heavy green. The probabilties are for a good game to-morrow on tihe Wellington Club greon.
