RIFLE SHOOTING.
Wanganui, December 27. The Wanganui Rifle Association nad tine weather for its championship meetmar to-day. The champion belt was won by Rifleman McLeay. of the Whakatake Rifle Ulub, with a score of 312 points; Sergeant Morgan, of the Napier Rifles, was second, wKb .305 : and Drummond, or Dannevirke, was third with 304. The Opaki No. 1 team won the championship team match with 1270 points.: Palmerrston North came second with 1258: and Wanganui Rifles third with 12H8. I'iivate Frederick won the Wellington match and Rifleman McLesy the Wanganui match.
