During the eveniqg,Mr A. Stevens Hon. Instructor of the Gymnasium Class, was presented with a writing desk as a mark of appreciatiop|of his service^,, and the esteem, in which he is held by members. The Chairman voiced the feelings of "gratitude bf the class towards Mr Stevens j'for hi_3 endeavors on their' behalf.';" Mr Stevens suitably acknowledged the gift, and expressed bis pleasure at the progress the members of the class had made. - ___
