Received August 15., 0.18 a.m. Sydney, I August 14.-, The steamship companies Jhave decided to increase oversea" Jsaloon passage rates by ten per centum. Steerage rates are not yet galtered. The lines affected are the P. and 0., Orient; Canadian Australian, Lund's, Aberdeen and Freflch and German mail boats.
