PURCHASE OF SCOWS.
Auckland, July 26. The Ford Shipping Line, Limited, has purchased Mr G. T. NicboPs fleet of scows. The Ford Line now comprise twelve timber carrying scows. The same line has contracted with the Kauri Timber Company for the carrying of all their timber from the coast ports of Auckland for a number of years, also towage of logs.
