Dunedin, July 22. At the inquest on Eileen Barton, aged seven weeks the medical evidence was to the effect that the child had been overlain by the mother in some way and the jury returned a verdict accordingly. The Coroner remarked on the very dangerous practice of motherß taking babies into their own beds.
