HONORS.— NEW PEERS.

Eeceived June 28, 10.30 p.m. LoDdon, June 28. The following new Peers have beqn created:— Sir James Kitson, Sir James Blythe, Sir Samuel Montagu, Alexander Peekover, Lord Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire, Also three new Privy Councillors including Robert Spence Watson, formerly President of the National Liberal Federation and fEugenie Wason, member of the House of Commons. Eleven baronetcies have been conferred, including Sir Wm. Treloar, Lord Mayor of London; and thirty three Knights, including Principal James Donaldson, of the University of St. Andrews; W. S. Gilbert; Herbert Herkomber., artist; W. K. Orcbardson, 'Painter; Professor of Rhyms of Oxford University. The majority of the others are Liberal organisers. Tne King has established an Indian distinguished service medal.
