Sydney, June 23. i The sculling race between Tressider and Thoroughgood took P^ce on tbe Hunter river, and was for £JOO a side, iin addition to tbe Championship [of Australia. Thoroughgood led for a mile, and afterwards kept Tressider, the bolder, moving, but was unable to overhaul him, the latter eventually winning by half a length. Time, lSniins 9 sees. I Webb, the£New Zealand sculler, and bis trainer, Barnett, witnessed the race.
