St. Petersburg, April 30. There has been a stormy sitting of the Duma, the Government asking for 459,000 recruits, the Minister of War remarking: "You must give us the soldiers." He quoted fundamental law showing that the Czar was- empowered and was raising six contingents, the same as the previous year. It is believed that the face of the Duma hangs upon the result of the debate, which stands adjourned.
