I Football — The annual meeting of the Rival Football Club will be held at, the Camera Club's rooms this evening at eight o'clock. —The Management Committee of the Rugby Union meet to-morow evening. Nelson Regatta— This afternoon « regatta will be held at the Poit under the auspices of the Nelson Sailing and Power Boat Club. Whatever Mr II J Stone has taken in hand he has made a success of. _ and, under the name of "Harry Price," he is admitted to be one of the finest trap shocs^in the Southern Hemisphere. He was born at Richmond, Nelson, in 1851. Monster Masquerade —The public are reminded that this takes place in the Botanical Reserve thia evening, >»t 7.30. The yarding at present consists of 1100 mixed sheep. To-morrow, at 1.30, Mr William Lock will sell at the residence, at South street, the furniture and effects of the late E Annear. Oh Friday at 1.30, at the residence, Collingwood street, the furniture and household appointments of Mr F £1 Hounsell, who is leaving Nelson. At Tadmor on Tuesday, 12th Mr Lock will sell the contents of the general store belonging to Messrs White Bros, comprising drapery, groceries, etc,
