The Maori stockade erected in the Sports Ground for the recent military tattoo is being shifted to the Pa, in connection with an elaborate sham fight, which will be heldbetween two parties of Maoris on Thursday afternoon. The total value of sales for the two months, exclusive of sales to the Adelaide Art Gallery is £249 1 14s. Unique concessions will be made to children visiting the Exhibition for the daylight fireworks on Saturday aftarnoon. The Wonderland concession gis that tickets, which usually are only available for school children coming in a body, will be made availabe for all children, and similar concessions will be offered by the proprietors of the other leading side shows. The Besses o'th' Barn Band, who commence their second season on Thursday, will give a sacred concert in aid of the fund for the Colonial Memorial to the late Mr Seddon, The Besses o'th' Barn were anxious to do something to assist this project, the late Mr Seddon having been a native of their County of Lancashire, and the visit of the Band to the Exhibition having been the result of bis action. The Exhibition and sideshows will all be closed, and the Sports Ground will simply be placed at the disposal of the Band and its audience. Extra space accommodation, in addition to the main corridor, is be ing prepared for the fruit and dahlia show, to be held on March 6th and 7th. Exhibits are expected from all leading horticultural centres within reasonable distance oi Christchurch. The entries close on Monday next.

Other prominent attractions o'" the next few weeks will be themoto car gyrukana on March 9fch, and tbe sheep yarding competitions of the Cbristchurch Dog Trials Club on fcbe Sports Ground on March 23rd.
