1 Waimea County. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the , Waimen, County Council, held at the ! Office of the Waimea County Council, in ' the City of Nelson, on the 10th d.ay of 1 January, 1097, it was resolved: That in pursuance of the powers conferred by 1 "The Conntics Act, 1886," and "The Public Works Act; 1005," and every Act or Acts amending the same, and every other power enabling it in that behalf, the Council of the Waimea County hereby ! makes the following By-law for the purpose of good rule and government of the Waimea County ; such By-lav/ to come into force on the iirst day of April, 1007} j and the forementioned By-law is ap | ponded to the resolution. And a subsequent meeting of the Waimea County Council will be held on the 7th day of March, 1007, at the Waimea County Offices, Nelson, for the purpose of confirm ing the before-mentioned resolution. And it is hereby further notified that the object and purport of the before-men-tionofl By-law is — "To make provision that heavy traffic shall cease on the County roads during the months of May, June, July, August, and September.-" A copy of the Special Order and of the proposed By-law, respectively, is deposited at the Office of the Waimea County Council at Nelson, and is open to the inspection of the public during office [ hours until the 7tli day of March, 1907. 1 Dated at Nelson this 4th day of February. 1007.
