MOROCCO TREATY RATIFIED. Received December 17, 10.11 p.m. Madrid, December 17. The Chamber has ratified the Algeciras'agreement. At the Pope's instance, Senor ! Oieda, the Spanish Ambassador to i the Vatican, has sounded Senor Castillo, the Spanish Ambassador at Paris, relative to the protection of Papal archives, Senor Caballero, Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs, has directed Senor Castillo ; to abstain from intervention King Alfonso remarked that Spain must not run the slightest risk of coolness with France.
