DROWNING FATALITY.

Whangarei, October 29. A co-operative laborer named Peter Williamson, aged 38, was drowned yesterday through the swamping of his dingy. Stratford. October 29. A bush contractor named George .Kronk, aged 25, single, was drowned whilst fording the Mangaehu river near Strathmore on Saturday afternoon. His horse got fouled with the logs in the bed of the stream, which was in flood at the time. A settler named Mr Martin saw the horse roll over and tho rider disappeared beneath the river's muddy waters. The body was recovered on Sunday morning.
