Amongst the most interesting items in the Supplementary Estimates brought down on Friday night are the following: National memorial to the late Right Hon. R. J. Seddon (£ for £ subsidy) £15,000; assistance for developing production of mineral oil £1000; expenses connected with the entertainment of guests at the New Zealand Interntional Exhibiti n £1000; grant to Prime Minister for expenses attending Colonial Conference in London in 1907, £15,000; expenses connected with decease and burial of the late Premier (Mr Seddon) £1150; expenses incurred during the visit of the late Mr Seddon to Australia .€579; subsidy towards the cost of housing Dr iloskin's collection when presented fco the Colony, £3900; and expenses of ittending the representation fof the Uolony at the International Postal Conference £2800.
