NEW PLYMOUTH.

Business was entirely suspended all day. Fully four thousand presons attended the united memorial service held in the Recreation Ground this afternoon. The President of the New Zealand Methodist Church gave a stirring address. Tho Bands played the "Dead March." Memorial services were held at Inglewood, Stratford, Eltham, Hawera, and practically every township in Taranaki Province. All business was suspended.
