AT RICHMOND.

The memorial service held on Thursday afternoon at Holy Trinity Church was attended by a large number of people. The Church was draped in black, and the rervice was conducted by Revs. T. A. Meyor end Perryman, who both delivered appropriate addresses. Suitable hymns wore sung by the combined choirs from Holy Trinity, Methodist and Baptist Churches. At the close of the sorvice Mr A. R. Dyson, orgaoist, played the "Dead March in Saul." Flags were flying half-mast on all the principal business places and public offices in the town, and the nchool was closed all day.
