LIBERALS PLEDGED. Received September 15, 8.28 p.m. London, September 15. It was announced at the Free Churches Conference at Scarborough that the Liberal Leaders are absolutely pledged to make a reversal of the present Government's educational policy their first work when returned to power; that their proposals include the absolute popular control of all schools, freedom from all sectarian tests ; no right of entry during school hours for the purpose of denominational teaching, but facilities for such teaching before or after hours.
