MOTHER AND DAUGHTER ARRESTED. Received March 13, 9.40 a.m Capetown, March 12. Mrs Bayfield Marais and her daughter Aileen, by her first husband, quarrelled with Piet Marais, a millionaire, whose son^married the first named contrary to Piet Marais wishes, and the latter cut off some of his son's supplies. The mother and daughter, were dining at the Mount Nelson Hotel, in .Capetown, as tbe guests of a visitor, and Piet Marais was sitting at another table, when Aileen, aged 15, {■ crossed the room, and blinded him with vitriol. He will probably succumb to his injuies. The mother and daughter were arrested.
