MEDICAL UNIVEESITY DEGREES.

Wellington, February 23. The University Senate to-day adopted the report of the Medical Committee, recommending that degrees of M.B. Ch.B., be conferred on Agatha Adams, Winifred Bathgate, Alexander Kinder, Gilbert Mi rams, Emily Eidley and Peter Buck. The latter is the first Maori to receive the New Zealand Medical degree. The following, though they have passed in all the subjects, are not entitled to receive their degrees, because they have not yet complied with all the regulations: — Thomas McKibbin, James Eobertson and John Eobertson.
