Port Chalmers Local Option-Poll.

Dunedin, March 3 A written decision was received from Mr Justice Williams in the case in which it was sought fco restrain Mr E. G. Graham, S.M , from hearing tbe petition against the Local Option poll, and this decided that Mr Carew is Magistrate for Port Chalmers, and that plaintiff is entitled to a writ of prohibition, with £15 costs and 'disbursements, to be paid by the defendants other than Mr Grabam, It is understood this disposes of the petition, as it was addressed to Mr Graham, aud cannot now be proceeded with by Mr Carew.
