Assault and Robbery
- Done^in, Mar6h 4. , Thomas O'Eeef arid Elizabeth Racklcj were committed lor trial to-day for assaulting David Bethune and robbing him of a watch, Bethune, who was under the influence of drink, was in Jubihe Park) when he was accosted by the woman, who afterwards struck him with an umbrella O'Kee! then came up, and Bethune was kicked and rolled ovsr a bank, and his watch taken. The occurrence was observed by some lads, who followed the aeeused, and told a policeman in tb§ street of what had occurred. O'Keef, seeing the Police, .tried to dispose of the watch in a tin with some rubbish, and:waa then arrested.
