Uxion Steam Ship Co. — We learn that Mr A. C. Walker, manager of the New Plymouth branch "blithe Union S.S. Co. is to be. transferred to Nelson in a similar position in place of the late Mr Keeble. Mr Walker is an old servant of the Company and is very popular in the service so he may be sure of a cordial welcome here. It is not yet known to which branch Mr A. R. Bond, who has been acting in Mr Keebles place, : will be transferred. Other transfers to take place as notified Tjy the Post are, as follows.— Mr Miller, of the Taihiti brunch of the Union Company, has been appointed manager of the Greymouth office, in place -of Mr Fraser, who will return to his old position of Chief clerk at Lyttelton. Mr Walker, will be succeeded |at New Plymouth by Mr Morgan, at present chief clerk in the Melbourne office. Tne vacancy at Melbourne will be filled by Mr Carter, late of the .Auckand branch.
