Another Case of General Debility. The ipas* of Mr. A; A. TROUft { (By a Special Reporter.) A genjbleman well known in most of Zealand's important towns is Mr. Alexanqjer Abercromby Troup, now r&i si-bug in. Sussex-street, Surry Hills, Auckland To the writer, who called at the abowfe address, Mr. Troup 'made the 'following interesting stateir.ent: — "I havle been a consistent suffered' from general', debility for about eleven or twelve *ears. I have never been a particularly strong man, and I believe my debility to be hereditary. At all events I am ,sure I have made myself much worse too close application to businefss, and not indulging in sufficient out-dbor exercise. In these days of keerj competition a man has got to "work harfl, but my experience has taught me that it is a great mistake to overdo it. A a a result of my incessant attention to business affairs my health broke down completely." ? "iv what way were you most affeotr fed?" . ' "I coinraencecl to fall away in weight and each day. found me paler and txiiai j nor than its predecessor. . Then I had very acufa headaches day and, n.-^ht: My head felt as though .it was compressed within a tightened band. My Fh;.-slcal strength gave way entirely, 6&A felt too weak aiid languid for my ordinary dutiea. I was liever a- voracious eater, but now my appetite was ver^ poor, and, indeed, I orteu turned away from food without tasting it. When 1 did eafc a lit tie I experienced much dis* comfort and considerable pain, especially in the chest, where my food reinrJued like a.kea\T load, showing my digestive or^ai':s were in a utiii state. Instead of noi'.r'sh.ng my system, the food I took t-iUTifil sour in the stoiiT'eh, ea^s'ag d disti.".i'-. : c-.i of that part of my anatomy; besides the formation of r.rr,<} gzzei'. Every ill ing bad a bitter, disagreeable taste, from which my mor.fcii v».v9 neref free, and niy to 'gue was thickly coated with a white substance, and very roriCJ. ( Er.adinpc was a difficult matber, niy eyes b^ing deep and suulren, and the s:'i.;iit impaired. The drawn expression of my white facs bore eloquent teitinony to the fact that niy suffexin-js wt-ru e:;---treme, aud when you learn t::at I could not even sleep a': nigat you will not be surprised to he^.r that my ij'r.ass m;::l« me look much older. Sh;up pains a'jout my shoulders and und^r my r.cs were a source of great fcrcnble, and J^conhl not get over these difficulties in s^'te of t?.kitig o'^y the most easily-digested substancost" . .:.-,'. "Ww yciiv nervous system afFects;* td any rxcent?'' . . . 'Oh, %es. The debilitated cond>'t:r>ri which I had fallen left mj nerved in a very shatce'rpcl state. The strain of too much mental worli on an enfeebled constitution worked havoc with my nerves, which were. always (jui/oring' and trembling. My. greatest a/3ii;tipn at this time was despondency. I couJd s not help looking 1 * ait the black side of everything. I felt too broken-down, and dispirited to interest myself in anything, and ir.y limbs fairly ached again from sheer weakness, which also had an injurious efrecfc on my memory, aud raade me disinclined to work. Other 'irregularities arose to add to my daily- discomforts, but I could gain no relief from my many ills, although I took remedies which were 'guaranteed' to cure." "You look in good health now." "I am glad to say that I eventuaUy found a medicine which acted splendidly on my wrecked constitution, and I am sure that Clements Tonic reigns supreme as a restorative: When I commenced taking Clements Tonic I was greatly depressed, but a few doses gave me heart again. ' A remarkable change for the better came over me, and the pains in my shoulder and chest, were relieved. The acute darting pains in my side disappeared, and my sickening headachea were also cured by Clements Tonic. I feljt my nerves strung up and toned right through my system, besides having a return of my appetite, which helped to increase my weight. My food digested satisfactorily, and I was glad of the sound sleep which also came as a result of taking Clements Tonic, which set me up completely." "May I publish your statements P" "I owe my health to Clements Tonio, so you may publish them facts in any way." STATUTORY DECLARATION.
