The Eainbow sailed tbe course of twenty-seven knots in 16min 21 sec less than the Waitangi, including her time allowance of 9min 50secs. The Rainbow won by 26min llsecs. The first race for second-class yachts was won by tbe Atlanta, and the second race by the Mahina. In the first race for half -rate yachts theßuru was the winner, and Marono won the second race.
