Estimate Total Boer LossesLondon, January 21. Beuter's correspondent states that moderate Cape estimates place the total Boer losses during the campaign at 6425. Persic Delayed at Capetown. Capetown, January 21. The steamer Persic, by which it was proposed to ship the Ne.w South Wales Bushmen's contingent on her arrival at Sydney, has been delayed here owing to her rudder-head being damaged. The vessel cannot leave before the end of the month. Cargo of Adelaide Flour Seized. , Durban, January 21. The barque Marie.^from Port Augusta, with Australian flour for President Kruger, has been seized by the British authorities at Delagoa Bay and brought to Durban. Explanation from South Australia. • Adelaide, January 22. In reference to the barque Marie, seized at Delagoa Bay, the agents state that she carried 1500 tons of flour and 20 tons of pollard, shipped to the order of a wellknown English house with branches in various parts of South Africa. Half of the cargo was for Natal, and the balance for Delagoa Bay. The agents have frequently done business with the firm. Large shipments of breadstuffs are being made to South Africa.
