Further details of the disaster to the New South Wales Lancers, and the Australian Horse, state that Corporal Kilpatrick, of the Lancers, badly wounded, has died, Sergt.-Major Griffin, of the Australian Horse was killed, and the following Lancers are missing: — Sergt.-Major Fisher, Sergt. McDonald, Corporal Hopf , Troopers Daley, Doudney, Found, Johnstone, Koberts, Taylor, and Whittington. Of the Australian Horse the following are missing, Corporal Wilson, Troopers Eames and Lynn.
