Serious Accroasi. — Yesterday morning, Mr William Kenning, "ati old resident of Stoke, was, while watering some cows in a paddock, gored in the thigh by one of the beasts. Mr Kenning was conveyed to the Hospital, where he is progressing favorably, though the injuries are rather severe. Fatal Accident.-— We regret to hear- that a boating fatality occurred at Fitzroy Bay, Pelorus Sound, last Wednesday, it being reported that Mr Stewart, youngest son of Mr Stewart, of Wakapuak*, and whose brother was drowned in the Sound some time since, pat off in a boat six days ago, and has not haen h-sard of sines, although diligent soarch h.is bean made,
