NEW GOVERNOR OF CRETE.

Athens, January 21. Prince George of Greece, the Governor of Crete, has visited a number of Christian churches and Mabommedan mosques in the principal towns of the island. The visits were made, amid the indescribable enthusiasm of the populace. Christian women and children scattered -flowers and perfumes along the path of the procession. The Moslems appear reconciled to the new order of affairs.
