CYCLONE AT NEW GUINEA.
Cooktow:*, December 27. Further details of the New Guinea cyclone show that about half a dozen I small vessels were wrecked, and a I number of others are missing. The schooner Wanawana was driven ashore, but the crew escaped. The Government ketch Mara is supposed to have foundered at sea. An entensive landslip killed 12 natives, and immense damage was j done to the cocoanut palms andj gardens. The traders are great sufferers.
