[ — *• Wellington, Beptember 5. At a meeting of the Committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union held to-night, a letter was read from the New South i Wales Union, asking whether the New Zealand Union was prepared to make a proposal to this Union in reference to the proposed visit of the English team. The Committee decided to send a circular to each Union in New Zealand and ask it to i say whether it will assist in obtaining* a visit front the Englishmen to New Zealand.
