Theatrical. — Mr Joha Fuller's Myriorama Company were in town yesterday. They hate met with the greatest success in the southern cities, especially in Dunedin, where they played for nine weeks twice a week. The Company left for Auckland by the Botoiti. Mr Fuller intends paying Nelson another visit on his return from the North. Dbuids* Dance. — At the request of a number of their patrons, the Druids will give another of their popular dances in the Reohabite Hall, to-morrow evening. The hours are from 8 to 12, and the price of admission is one shilling. This will positively be the last dance of the season. Young Men's Institute. — There was a very fair ettendance of members and others at the All Saints' schoolroom last night, when Mr Worley delivered a lecture upon " Hydtogan," making his subject most interesting to his hearers, and showing a number of experiments in illustration thereof. At the conclusion, the Bey Mr Chatterton, as President of the Institute, thanked Mr Worley for his kipdneis in giving the lecture, and Mr Worley expressed his gratification at the attention given to bis address. Pbohibition Lectube in the Baptist Chtjbch. — Last night the Bey W. H. Judkins lectured in the above Church upon " Prohibition, Success ; Regulation, and Failure. 11 The Rev J. Crump occupied the chair, and stated he was pleased to represent the Wesleyan body, which was taking a prominent part in the Prohibition movement. Mr JudMns gave an interesting address, and the answers to many questions sent to Probate Judges in the United States as to the value of Prohibition in reducing crime and poverty, and decrease of taxation in those SUtes where Prohi-

bition had been fairly tried. He referred to j the Clutha district, which has only partial Prohibition, where crime had ilso, diminished, and a much better state of things exists from a business standpoint. Mr Judkins will address a meeting of workers in the Baptist Schoolroom at eight o'clock this evening.
