MASSACRE OF A CREW.
Sydney, September 4. The Islands new German schooner Sea Ghost was captured by the natives of Buka Island (one of the Solomon Group), which is under German influence. They surprised the crew while the captain wa3 aloft guiding the vessel among the reefs, i'hey butchered the captain and four of the crew, two of the latter escaping. The vessel was looted and then sunk. The natives held a cannibalistic feast on the bodies of four of the crew, who were natives.
